THEORETICAL ELEMENTS
The result of 27 years of research and expertise, this tool has been the subject of various qualitative and quantitative studies that have identified the combinations of personal situations that can lead to long-term unemployment. It is based on research conducted in France and Quebec on the psychosocial dimensions of unemployment and job-seeking. The experiments were then extended to a number of other countries.
The test consists of 220 items, but the number of questions asked depends on the context and the answers given by the respondent. Each question helps to explore the nature of the difficulties experienced, and as a whole makes it possible to establish a reliable diagnosis of strengths and weaknesses with a view to providing the person and their advisor with information that can help them return to work. The 2 reports produced (client and advisor) target the discourse according to the needs of each interlocutor by :
- identifying the risks of becoming trapped in long-term unemployment,

and - guiding steps towards action,
- helping to develop a strategy tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Copilote

Employability Diagnostics, also known as Copilote
An online shared diagnostic tool for anyone looking for a new job. It takes just a few minutes for a user or a group to find out the exact nature of their difficulties in finding a job.
Knowing exactly what their difficulties are helps to alleviate the customer's anxieties and motivates them to build a genuine integration strategy.
The nature of the results provided encourages flexible, adaptable prescriptions and enables us to respond to specific needs for help and training.
The risks of becoming mired in long-term unemployment are identified. All preventive services then become relevant.
Diagnostic Employability offers objective information that enables difficulties to be identified immediately and their importance in terms of career management or professional integration to be measured.

Diagnostic Employability saves precious time and increases the reliability of diagnoses by taking into account, from the first meeting, elements that might otherwise only become known to the advisor after several hours of interviews. It has been validated that it takes between 7 and 10 one-hour interviews to obtain the same information!

A SIMPLE TOOL that's FAST AND RIGOROUS
. Diagnostic Employability, or Copilot Employability depending on the region, is a simple, fast, rigorous and effective online tool.
Diagnostic Employability presents the user with situations that are the expression of a current or past difficulty. The awareness, advice, suggestions, personal reflection and work with an advisor all help to develop a relevant strategy.
Completing the questionnaire is quick and easy - 25 to 35 minutes.
Diagnostic Employability presents situations one by one to which the user must answer True or False. At the end of the questionnaire, two reports are produced in *.pdf format. One for the advisor, the other for the respondent.
The two reports enable the results to be pooled, a fruitful exchange to take place and a shared diagnosis to be made, facilitating the development of a strategy tailored to the beneficiary's professional integration.

RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF THE EMPLOYABILITY DIAGNOSTIC TOOL.
The Employability Diagnostic was designed in four stages:
Information gathering The aim was to identify exhaustively the situations posing difficulties for jobseekers. The aim was to clarify their situation, in order to provide answers in terms of behaviour and know-how that would promote professional integration.
1,092 people looking for a new job helped to draw up an initial list of 105 situations using a ?spontaneous' survey method. This list of situations was gradually added to as the research progressed, and now stands at 220.
Validation of information.
12,000 people took part in drawing up the questionnaire over 10 years, either in groups or individually, including 8,000 people who took part in validating the situations.

Identification of high-risk situations.
15 years of clinical research on the generic theme of ?Man's relationship with his Work' have made it possible to identify ?at-risk' situations in working life in general and for jobseekers in particular to become ?long-term unemployed'. This clinical research was validated by statistical tests. Various studies were conducted based on the following question: ?Is there a correlation between this situation and long-term unemployment?
Around 300,000 people have used this diagnosis to date
.
